Relax, unwind and de-stress with a Reiki session. The name Reiki derives from the Japanese pronunciation of two Japanese characters that describe the energy itself: ‘rei’ (meaning ‘unseen’ or ‘spiritual’) and ‘ki’ (Chinese qi, here meaning ‘energy’ or ‘life force’).
In English, the meaning of Reiki is often given as ‘universal life energy’. Reiki is a simple and powerful process. that channels the unseen life-force energy. This is the energy from which all life flows. Without the life-force energy, we would not exist. Reiki works at our soul level so it can heal our mental and emotional issues and bring about inner peace and spiritual growth.
What should you expect from a Reiki session?
The treatments and their frequency are individually tailored to your needs and condition. This is the perfect way to spoil yourself.
When you have Reiki, you will feel calm, at peace and relaxed. Reiki induces a state of deep relaxation and allows the body to heal itself. Reiki works at deep inner levels, so it can also heal mental and emotional issues and bring inner peace, harmony and healing.
Not sure if it’s right for you? Rest assured that Reiki is completely safe and has no side effects whatsoever, so what have you got to lose?
A Reiki session takes 1 hour. You lie on a massage couch (fully clothed) and listen to relaxing music. Reiki is not a massage, but I place my hands on you, working from head to toe. You will feel very calm and relaxed, as if you are in a deep state of meditation. After your treatment, you will feel peaceful and re-energised.
I am a level 2 Reiki practitioner and enjoy the opportunity to blend Reiki with traditional therapy techniques.
